DataVerse-2026 is a data analytics competition focused on solving complex real-world problems using data science, visualization, and storytelling. Organized by the Departmental Statistics Association, Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (Est. 1949).
This edition fosters data-driven thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students across the Faculty of Science.
Open to all students currently enrolled in any course under the Faculty of Science, MSU Baroda. Participants may register individually or in teams of 2–4 members.
Registration fee: ₹100 per participant. Team leader completes the form on behalf of the team. AI tools are permitted and encouraged throughout.
All participants must register within the stipulated deadline using the provided link or QR code.
Individuals or teams of 2–4. Composition must remain the same across all rounds of DataVerse.
Use of AI tools is permitted and encouraged, provided participants maintain academic integrity and transparency.
All submissions must be original. Plagiarism or pre-existing solutions without attribution leads to disqualification.
Maintain discipline, professionalism, and decorum. Any misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.
All submissions must be made within prescribed time limits and in the specified format. No late submissions.
Decisions by the panel of judges and organising committee are final and binding. No appeals entertained.
Solo participants wishing to join a team may indicate so during registration. Committee facilitates matching.
